Pediatric cardiac surgery

A Board certified adult and pediatric (mainly acquired) cardiac surgeon in Italy. Trained in London (UK) with Mr Donald Ross and Prof Magdy Yacoub, then completed a two years fellowship at Laval University in Canada with Dr Paul Cartier Jr, before to come back to practice in Italy, his home country. Academic backgroung with University teaching appointments and more than 100 manuscripts in peer reviewed journals. Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), where he served as Nucleus Member of the Cardiovascular Surgery domain; Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC); Fellow of the International College of Surgeons(FICS) and Fellow of ANMCO. He is presently Head of Cardiac Surgery at the Salam Centre for Cardiac Surgery in Khartoum, Sudan. The Salam Centre is an International cardiac tertiary care Istitution with referrals from more than 30 different countries.
