Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Treatment

I have experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings in assessment and management of withdrawal symptoms of patients with opiates, tramadol, benzodiazepines, stimulants, and alcohol dependence. Moreover, I had experience working in a multidisciplinary team in PMH as a psychiatry specialist. In the rehabilitation program, my duties included motivational sessions, conducting a weekly group therapy session. My areas of expertise include psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, somatoform disorders, and dissociative disorders. I feel confident in prescribing psychotropic medications, discussing them with the patients, and following up on response and side effects. I am familiar with possible complications and had experiences with even rare ones. I have dealt with treatment resistance in several disorders, e.g. schizophrenia, depression, and OCD. My approach depended on empathy, positive regard, being non-judgmental, and respecting client’s autonomy .I offer supportive therapy to patients who need it, in addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy technique for patients suffering from depression, social anxiety, OCD, generalized anxiety disorder, paranoid personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, and anankastic personality disorder.
