General, Visceral and Oncologic Surgery

Dr. Giovinazzo is holding a position Surgeon in Liver Transplantation and General Surgery at the Policlinico “A. Gemelli”, Rome (IT). He is trained in Surgical Oncology, elective and emergency General Surgery, and Abdominal Multi-organ Retrieval (DBD/DCD). His academic interest is focused in HPB Cancer research and Liver transplant. He has been trained in different international recognized centres. Dr Giovinazzo was awarded a Ph.D. degree from the University of Verona in 2012 after defending a thesis entitled “TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH IN THE DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY: AN ITALIAN EXPERIENCE.”
