From the A.Y. 1997/98 to the A.Y. 2003/2004 he is in charge of teaching "Instrumental and Functional Semeiotics" at the 2nd School of Specialization in General Surgery. Since 7/07/2001 he is Confirmed Researcher in the Scientific Disciplinary Sector "Med 18- General Surgery", Department of Surgical Sciences of the University of Messina, U.O.C. of Minimally Invasive Surgery. from the University of California San Francisco (U.C.S.F.) - U.S.A. - learning the basic principles of Robotic and Nano Surgery. From 04/12/2006 to 07/12/2006 he attended the BASISKURS LAPAROSKOPISCHE SURGERY at the AESCULAP ​​ACADEMY OF TUTTLINGEN in GERMANY, score 40/40.
