Geriatric medicine

Field of expertise: new technologies to promote healthy-aging, development of new health-technologies, digital biomarkers, health living-lab, evaluation and effective implementation (expert for European Commission and national health authority), prescribed drugs and aging (expert for national health authority and international programs). Research area: digital biomarkers, prediction of health events, artificial intelligence, development and clinical evaluation of technological tools for health and healthy aging. I am the principal investigator (PI) in a number of ongoing regional and national collaborative projects (wearable and ambient smart sensors). Scientific and administrative functions: responsible of the Toulouse University Hospital “Silver Economy” commission. Clinical activity: medical officer in a geriatric Acute Care Ward at the Toulouse University Hospital with a mean number of 1600 admissions per year.
