Enthusiast about new technologies and medical devices, • Surgical proctor and International Consultant for Less Invasive Ventricular Enhancement (LIVE) therapy with Revivent TCTM system in Europe. • Surgical proctor and International Consultant for transventricular off-pump mitral valve repair with NeoChord DS1000TM device in Europe. Active involvement in case reviewing and training meetings, besides case proctoring. • 247 cases performed as independent main surgeon without supervision, including aortic, mitral (open repair, NeoChordTM repair and replacement) and tricuspid valve surgery, CABG on and off pump with BIMA usage, ascending aorta surgery including Bentall procedures and combined surgery (description in appendix); • First worldwide user of the BiFlowTM cannula for peripheral artery cannulation, providing feedback to the R&D team.
