Oncoplastic Breast Surgery

My workload in surgery is in keeping with my experience in breast and oncoplastic surgery with an interest in Breast Aesthetic surgery.. My patients have been glad about their results, happy with my consultations and appreciative of my manner in handling cancer cases and the sensitivity issues that surrounds them. • As an indication of my workload during the last year I have performed 30 Breast reconstructions , 70 oncoplastic procedures [included therapeutic mamoplasty, mastopexy, and nipple reconstructions]. In addition, I have performed 105 SLNBs, 32 wire guided WLE, 40 breast conservation surgeries with volume displacement flaps and 20 axillary node clearances. I perform Intraoperative Radiotherapy during surgery .This is a new technique and patients reduce treatment times by four weeks • Involved in the following audits projects: National mastectomy audit, Data validation for the BCCOM project year five. Also completed an audit looking at Axillary node clearance over a four year period • Made a substantial contribution to patient care by ensuring my waiting time is kept well under control, i.e. undertaken extra theatre lists and extra breast clinics to bring down waiting times. • I am also the CoChair of the MDT at Harley Street Clinic that deals with Cases nationally and Internationally and is attended by the leading specialist in Oncology ,Clinical oncology, Pathology and Surgery
